Ya se conocen los candidatos a los oscar del presente año, estando entre los nominados el compositor español Alberto Iglesias, nominado al Óscar por la mejor banda sonora.

El compositor español Alberto Iglesias y el argentino Gustavo Santaolalla han conseguido su primera candidatura al Oscar en la categoría de mejor banda sonora.

Iglesias aspira por su trabajo en la película "El jardinero fiel", dirigida por el brasileño Fernando Meirelles.
