El equipo de desarrollo de WinAmp acaba de liberar una nueva versión de WinAmp, la 5.25 Build 787, que solventa algunos problemas y fallos de seguridad que existían en la versión anterior.
El reproductor más veterano del panorama nos presenta una nueva versión de su buque insignia.
Facilidad de uso, aspecto configurable, plugins programables, buena calidad de sonido, envía y recibe streaming, y muchas mas opciones.
A destacar el soporte para la mayor parte de los formatos de audio (MP3, OGG, AAC, WAV, MOD, XM, S3M, IT, MIDI, etc) y video (AVI, ASF, MPEG, NSV).
Su apariencia puede ser alterada mediante pieles, soportando tanto skins para Winamp 1.x/2.x y pieles para Winamp 3.
